FBO handling and parking
Ground handling covers meeting the aircraft on arrival, marshalling it onto a stand, and moving it while it is on the ground. At many airports using an FBO is not optional.
What to specify when you ask
FBOs consistently say enquiries arrive missing the same details. Include these and you will usually get a firm price first time rather than a round of questions.
- Aircraft type and registration
- Arrival and departure times, local
- How long you are on the ground — turnaround or overnight
- Whether you need towing or pushback rather than self-manoeuvring
- Passenger and crew numbers
