The following details must be notified for each flight: -Aircraft type, registration and operator; -Point of origin and destination; -Date/time of ETA and ETD Gatwick. -Nominated handling agent. (Mandatory for both domestic and international flights). Due to increasing demand for runway slots, particularly at peak times of the day, General Aviation operators are advised that their requested slot time may not be available. In this case, the available runway slot times nearest to those requested will be offered by Airport Co-ordination Ltd. It is emphasised that runway slots are required for both arrivals at and departures from Gatwick. No runway slot is valid unless identified by a reference number in the form of a letter and five digits. The filing of a flight plan does not confer permission to use Gatwick Airport. Runway slots are required in addition to ATC slots. ATC clearance to approach/land or Taxi/take-off does not imply the existence of a valid runway slot. |
